Job summary

Bernick’s in Saint Cloud, MN, is hiring a full-time Route Driver. You will transport, unload, and merchandise beverages to customer accounts on local routes, with most schedules allowing you to be home every night.

Most shifts run Tuesday–Friday and total 40 hours per week. A valid Class A CDL, clean driving record, DOT physical and drug screen, and ability to lift 50–165 pounds are required. Benefits include PTO and health plus 401(k) matching.

Responsibilities

About Us:

Bernick’s is a 5th generation family-owned provider of beverages, vending and food solutions, representing leading brands such as Pepsi, Dr Pepper, Miller Brewing Company and New England Coffee. We service locations in greater MN and western WI.

Job Summary:

Our route drivers work in-town, local area routes, allowing them to be home with their families every night. You are responsible for transporting and unloading pop, beer, and other products to customer accounts. Our route drivers also enjoy 4-day work weeks!

Responsibilities:

• Operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Rotate and merchandise beverages at customer accounts
• Complete daily routes as scheduled, with accuracy and efficiency
• Load and unload goods safely and securely
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Bend, lift, twist, while moving product off the truck

Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)

• Most routes are Tuesday-Friday, some schedules vary

Requirements

• Valid Class A Driver’s License
• Driving record which meets Bernick’s standard
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
• Lift and move product weighing 50-165 pounds
• Bend, lift, twist, while moving product off the truck
• Travel may be required as part of this role to support various Bernick’s locations, events, or business needs. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) will be conducted as part of the hiring process and evaluated in relation to the requirements of the role.
• Team members in this position may be required to handle, move, and work with a variety of products, including alcoholic beverages, nicotine products, pork products, and other regulated consumer goods.

Base Compensation:

$26-$28/hr
