Airgas, a leading US supplier of industrial gases, is hiring a Local CDL Delivery Driver in Topeka, KS. This full-time role involves delivering compressed and liquid gas cylinders along established routes and maintaining safety standards.

The position requires Class A/B CDL with Hazmat endorsements or ability to obtain, a clean MVR, and strong physical stamina for frequent lifting. Airgas offers comprehensive benefits and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• CDL driving experience with DOT verification in past 5 years or graduation from driving school.
• Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain after offer contingency
• Clean MVR and at least 21 years old
• Physical ability to lift 25–75 lbs regularly and up to 125+ lbs with equipment
• Able to read and interpret MSDS and work independently

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for customers on your route, processing orders and handling inquiries.
• Safely load, transport, and unload products following DOT and company regulations.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and keep the truck clean and ready for daily use.
• Drive up to 8 hours a day while handling hazardous cargo and heavy lifts.
