Job summary

Airgas, Inc. is hiring a Local CDL Driver in Topeka, KS. You will operate a Class A/B vehicle, deliver compressed gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes, and interact with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Class A or B CDL driving experience verifiable under DOT in past 5 years, or a recent graduate from accredited driving school.
• Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain Hazmat upon contingency of offer.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compressed gas cylinders and related products on an established route while maintaining safety and DOT compliance.
• Handle loading/unloading, collect signatures, and address customer inquiries to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain vehicle with routine checks and clean appearance; perform pre/post-trip checks.
• Lift 25–75 lbs regularly and up to 125+ lbs with equipment; drive up to 8 hours daily on hazardous cargo.
