Job summary

Best Buy Metals is seeking a CDL-A Driver to join our local delivery team in Tennessee. You will operate Ram 4500 and 5500 trucks, complete pre-trip inspections, and ensure safe, on-time deliveries to customer sites.

This role offers home daily, Monday–Friday schedules, no overnight trips, and a strong focus on safety and customer service. Compensation is $22.00–$24.00 per hour with weekly pay and benefits starting after 60 days.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• 21+ years old
• Clean motor vehicle record
• Current Medical Certificate or ability to obtain one
• Registered with FMCSA
• Ability to lift and perform physical tasks including bending, squatting, twisting, pushing, and pulling
• Confidence working independently on the road
• Experience maneuvering trailers longer than 25 feet in tight spaces or remote areas
• Strong safety awareness and sound judgment

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Ram 4500 and 5500 medium-duty trucks with specialized delivery trailers
• Deliver metal roofing and related materials to customer locations
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Load, secure, and unload materials safely by hand or with equipment
• Maintain DOT and FMCSA logs and compliance requirements when needed
• Communicate professionally with customers before, during, and after delivery
• Ensure accurate, on-time deliveries
