Job summary

Reyes Family of Businesses in Chicago seeks a Class A Driver to unload and deliver products to customers, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and operate equipment. The role covers 8 Chicagoland counties with a daytime M-F schedule, home every night and no weekends.

You will handle powered equipment, pallets, and paperwork, with additional duties as needed. Retirement pension and paid holidays are offered as part of a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 1+ years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military with a valid Class A CDL.
• Must be able to lift 25–50 lbs regularly and up to 170 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Unload and deliver products to customers; perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle including conveyors and carts.
• Operate powered industrial trucks and material handling equipment (electric pallet jack/hand truck).
• Pickup returned products, collect payments and pallets; complete delivery/pickup paperwork.
• Other duties as assigned.

• The Class A Driver is responsible for unloading and delivering products to our customers as well as pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle
• As a Class A Driver, you must have the ability to safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle including conveyors and carts
• You will securely operate powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment such asan electric pallet jack and/or hand truck
• Additionally, you will pick up returned products including payments and pallets as well as completing delivery and pick up paperwork
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military with a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Must possess a Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
