Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. in Whitewater, WI is seeking full-time Class A Yard Drivers on a Wednesday–Saturday 2nd shift. Local, home daily with four 10-hour shifts. Compensation ranges from $30 to $33 per hour plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualified candidates will drive late-model Penske trucks, featuring in-cab cameras for safety. Responsibilities include moving, coupling/uncoupling, and chocking trailers at loading docks.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required and applicants must be domiciled in the U.S.
• Ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card is required.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the past 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR with two or fewer violations/accidents.
• Follow all federal/state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
• English language proficiency is required.
• Background check and drug screen are required.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers in and out of dock as directed by management.
• Couple and uncouple trailers.
• Chock trailers as spotted for loading/unloading and pull from doors.
