Job summary

Agropur is seeking a Semi Driver (Warehouse Truck Driver) in Le Sueur, MN. The role loads and unloads trucks, delivers merchandise, and maintains daily truck logs while ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will operate forklifts, back trailers, and adhere to DOT hours and procedures. The position offers $27.90 per hour with two pay raises in the first year, Monday–Friday work with possible overtime, and benefits including a 401(k) match, PTO from day one, holidays, parental leave, a bonus

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience driving a truck and backing a trailer.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience operating a forklift.
  • Experience backing a trailer into a dock.
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • Slip Sheet Unit/Powerlift Jack operation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain load manifests and all other vehicle documents, ensuring balance with truck counts and shipping documents.
  • Safely operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment as needed.
  • Inspect vehicle and complete daily inspection report per DOT rules.
  • Deliver merchandise to appropriate location using company vehicle; ensure delivery receipt is signed.
  • Prepare, stage, load and unload trucks safely and accurately.
  • Keep truck and trailer clean and swept.
  • Fill out all logs accurately and submit to proper people.
  • Report equipment issues to manager or supervisor.
  • Follow Quality Assurance policies and report potential food safety issues.

Your Role In Achieving Results
  • Maintain load manifests and all other vehicle documents, ensuring they are properly completed and balanced with truck counts and shipping documents before and after deliveries.
  • Safely operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment as needed.
  • Inspect company vehicle for visual defects when the vehicle is not running and operating defects when the vehicle is running; complete a daily inspection report per DOT rules.
  • Comply with all DOT hours of service and rules of the road.
  • Deliver merchandise to the appropriate location using the company vehicle; ensuring delivery receipt is signed by the receiver.
  • Prepare, stage, load and unload trucks safely and accurately.
  • Keep truck and trailer clean and swept.
  • Fill out all logs accurately and submit to the proper people.
  • Report any issues with equipment to manager or supervisor.
  • Understand and comply with all Quality Assurance policies, immediately reporting any potential food safety issues to management.
  • Keep daily truck logs.
  • Perform general maintenance of trucks.
  • Take trucks in for inspection, service and maintenance.
  • Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Safety Protocol
  • Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
  • Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
  • Support safety policies and programs.

What We Are Looking For To Deliver These Results
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
