Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in the Birmingham area is seeking a CDL driver. The role offers $15-$20 per hour, depending on experience, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 6am to 3/4pm. Responsibilities include loading, unloading and moving freight, and operating ramps, lift gates, pallet jacks, and other delivery equipment.

SOME days are longer than 8 hours and some routes require vendor pickups; compliance with road rules is essential. CDL A or B and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• CDL A or B certification is required.
• Clean driving record is required.
• DOT certification preferred.
• Ability to operate auto and/or manual transmission.
• Ability to handle a physical workload.
• Deadline-oriented mindset is required.

Responsibilities

• SOME DAYS ARE LONGER THAN 8 HOURS.
• TOUCH FREIGHT COMPANY.
• DRIVERS LOAD, UNLOAD AND MOVE VARIOUS EQUIPMENT: RAMPS, LIFT GATES, PALLET JACKS, LOAD BARS AND OTHER EQUIPMENT.
• EQUIPMENT TO ASSIST WITH DELIVERIES.
• SOME ROUTES MAY REQUIRE PICKUPS FROM OUR VENDORS AND FOLLOW FEDERAL MOTOR RULES.
