Job summary

Republic Services is hiring a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a waste collection truck and serve customers on assigned routes. You will ensure the vehicle meets safety standards, complete daily vehicle condition reports, and follow regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes courteous customer interactions, adherence to safety policies, and timely route servicing. A strong focus on pre/post inspections and on-time performance is essential.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Ability to perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Good customer service and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a collection truck on assigned routes.
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections and complete VCRs daily.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers.
• Load refuse, operate packer and dispose at designated facility.
• Complete route productivity and safety reports; adhere to safety policies.
• Participate in ReSOP program and follow company procedures.
