Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class B CDL Truck Driver for Plainview, NY, with local home daily routes and a 5:30 AM start. You will drive a 26' straight truck, perform inspections, and maintain safety standards on a local NYC route. Weekly pay at $28.45 per hour and benefits after 30 days are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL license (Class A or B) with endorsements.
• Hazmat endorsement required or within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Demonstrated safety mindset and responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal and/or state laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist if required by customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
