Job summary

Auto-Wares in Madison, WI is hiring a full-time CDL Local Truck Driver (B or A) for a graveyard shift with a dedicated route. You will load freight at the distribution center, transport to store locations, and unload upon arrival, while maintaining safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B license.
• Minimum of 2 years driving experience.
• Must pass DOT medical and drug screen.
• Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Safely loads, delivers and unloads each customer's orders and records deliveries on a manifest.
• Scan all packages and report scanner problems to Manager.
• Ensure security by setting alarms and locking stores after shift.
• Vehicle manifests, labeling and loads are compliant with DOT/OSHA regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any deficiencies.
• Operate pallet jack, forklift and other warehouse equipment as needed.
