Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Cedar Rapids, IA seeks an experienced Delivery Driver to service local routes. You will operate a straight truck, unload deliveries, and maintain safety and DOT-compliant records while representing the company professionally to customers.

Daily shifts run early mornings, 3–5 days per week, with home every night. Competitive benefits accompany this role in a fast-paced foodservice distribution environment.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license required.
Clean driving record essential.
Familiarity with DOT regulations.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Able to lift up to 60 pounds and handle cargo safely.

Responsibilities

Operate a straight truck to deliver product to customers.
Maintain logs and mileage/fuel records per regulations.
Serve as the communications link between customers and operations.
Unload cargo at delivery sites.
Occasionally operate liftgate or pallet jack as needed.
Ensure vehicle is well-maintained and compliant with safety standards.
Deliver products on time while providing courteous customer service.
