Local CDL-B Concrete Mixer Driver - Woodbury, New Jersey

Join Silvi Materials as a Concrete Mixer Driver in Woodbury, NJ. This full-time, entry-level position offers a competitive pay rate of approximately $34.55/hour, including base and yardage bonuses, along with industry-leading benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401K, pension, disability insurance, and tuition reimbursement.

Responsibilities

1. Operate an 80,000 lbs ready-mix truck safely and in compliance with federal and state regulations.
2. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and document repairs as needed.
3. Load and pour concrete, ensuring safety in areas with heavy pedestrian and equipment traffic.
4. Maintain accurate delivery, truck, and driving records.
5. Communicate effectively with dispatch and read delivery tickets.
6. Wash residual concrete from truck and equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-B license and DOT Medical Card.
• Pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, with start times between 12 am and 9 am.
• Preferred: 1 year of driving experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 40-50 pounds regularly.
• Climb ladders, handle tools, and perform physical activities for extended periods.
• Good vision and hearing skills.
