Job summary

US Foods is seeking a driver to safely deliver products to customers on a regular schedule. You will unload, verify deliveries, handle payments when needed, and provide excellent customer service.

A valid CDL Class B with endorsements and DOT qualifications is required, along with FMCSA Clearinghouse registration. Starting pay is $20 per hour during training, with a base rate typically between $18 and $25 per hour, depending on location and experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class B with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months in food/beverage delivery.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.
• Unload products using two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated areas.
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain signatures.
• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
• Perform customer service duties to enhance client experience.
• Complete all pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
