Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Apopka, FL. This role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and a driving career with safety at the forefront. Expect a local, yard-to-road position with a 4:30 AM start and a Sunday–Wednesday schedule.

Earn $24.00 per hour, with 40+ hours weekly and paid training. You’ll drive a yard tractor, operate dry vans, and work with a supportive team across nationwide maintenance locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age or older.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle and maneuver tractor trailers on the yard and on public roads.
• Comply with safety and DOT regulations; participate in continuous training and maintain customer service.
• Maintain accurate records and logs, including move and yard inventory records.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
