Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in West Point, GA for local home daily routes. Drivers are paid weekly with a base rate of $25 per hour, plus 0.50 per hour shift pay, and a quarterly $250 safety bonus.

The role includes paid training, 55+ hours per week, and strong benefits after 30 days. Early responsibilities include maintaining logs, complying with DOT rules, and safely loading/unloading when required, with opportunities for maternity leave and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Provide a valid CDL Class A license with endorsements.
• Pass a drug test and background check, plus a DOT physical.
• Must pass Ryder road test and verify experience criteria.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and apply regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and company rules.
• Maintain accurate logs and records.
• Load/unload freight if required and assist as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
