Job summary

Lazer Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Local Yard Driver to stay in one location and move trailers within the yard in a safe, controlled environment. You will not have customer deliveries or long routes, ensuring a stable, predictable daily routine.

The role offers a starting pay of $25.00 per hour with overtime after 40 hours, weekly pay, and retention/referral bonuses. Lazer emphasizes safety, reliability, and a strong benefits package across its nationwide operations.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required with clean driving record.
• Current DOT Medical Card is mandatory.
• Experience operating tractor-trailers is expected.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Able to get in and out of the truck during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers within the yard and between dock doors.
• Perform drop and hook operations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Communicate with dispatch and yard personnel.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation.
