Job summary

Lazer Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Local Yard Driver who stays in one location, moving trailers within the yard in a safe, controlled environment. This role offers a steady, predictable day with clear expectations that you know where you are going and what you are doing.

You will be home daily with limited road driving, no touch freight, and no multi‑stop routes. Starting pay is $21.50 per hour with overtime after 40 hours, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Satisfactory MVR driving record.
• Current DOT Physical and Medical Card.
• Ability to handle long hours and varying weather conditions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to perform physical tasks entering/exiting the truck multiple times.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate trucks and trailers per CDL regulations and company policies.
• Transport trailers to and from designated locations.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections for safety.
• Adhere to safety policies and applicable regulations.
• Handle equipment and products per service agreements.
• Communicate with dispatch, customers, team members and vendors; maintain logs.
