Job summary

Lazer Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Local Yard Driver to stay in one location, moving trailers within the yard. You will not do customer deliveries or long routes; instead, you will handle drop and hook operations and inspections in a safe, controlled environment.

Enjoy home daily schedules, limited road driving, weekly pay, and a full benefits package. Overtime is available after 40 hours, with a competitive hourly wage and a $1 shift differential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Current DOT Medical Card required.
• Safe driving record required.
• Experience operating tractor-trailers required.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to get in and out of the truck throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers within the yard and between dock doors.
• Perform drop and hook operations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Communicate with dispatch and yard personnel.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation.

Skills

Valid Class A CDL

Current DOT Medical Card

Safe driving record

Experience operating tractor-trailers

Work in all weather conditions

Able to get in/out of truck
