Job summary

Lazer Logistics, Inc. is looking for a Local Yard Driver to stay in one location and move trailers within the yard in a safe, controlled environment. No long routes or multi-stop deliveries.

You will be home daily with a consistent schedule, receive weekly pay, and enjoy a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) with match, PTO, and disability coverage. A $2.00 shift differential is offered for this role.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A.
• Proven experience as a class A CDL driver with a satisfactory MVR.
• Current DOT Medical Card and knowledge of applicable trucking rules and regulations.
• Ability to handle long hours and adapt to various weather conditions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; excellent communication abilities.
• Physical ability to get in and out of the truck multiple times during shift.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A trucks and trailers per regulations.
• Transport trailers to designated locations safely and timely.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections for safety.
• Follow safety policies and federal/state regulations.
• Handle equipment and products per services agreed with customers.
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team; maintain logs of driving hours and incidents.
