Job summary

Lazer Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Local Yard Driver to operate within a single yard location, handling trailer movements with no-touch freight and no customer deliveries.

You will work a predictable schedule, stay in one place all shift, and earn hourly pay with overtime after 40 hours. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and reliability, with paid weekly payroll and opportunities for retention and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• CDL required with clean driving record.
• DOT medical card active.
• Experience operating tractor-trailers is preferred.
• Ability to work in all weather and lift/enter truck as needed.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers within the yard and between dock doors.
• Perform drop and hook operations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Communicate with dispatch and yard personnel.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation.

Valid Class A CDL
