Lazer Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Local Yard Driver to stay in one location, moving trailers within the yard in a safe, controlled environment. You can expect a predictable day with a consistent schedule.

This role features home daily, limited road driving, no touch freight, and no customer deliveries. You’ll work in a stable yard with steady hours and reliable pay, with opportunities for growth within a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Safe driving record.
• Experience operating tractor-trailers.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to get in and out of the truck throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers within the yard and between dock doors.
• Perform drop and hook operations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Communicate with dispatch and yard personnel.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation.

Job description

As a Local Yard Driver with Lazer Logistics, you will stay in one location for your entire shift. No traffic, no long routes, and no multiple stops. Instead, you focus on moving trailers within the yard in a safe, controlled environment.

Pay and Benefits

• Starting Pay $23.00 With CDL Only
• Starting Pay $23.50 with HAZMAT
• Starting Pay $24.00 with HAZMAT and Tanker
• Overtime available after 40 hours
• Weekly pay
• Referral bonus up to $2,000
