Job summary

West Central Sanitation is hiring a driver to operate heavy-duty trucks and assist with loading and transporting walking floor trailers to disposal, transfer, and recycling facilities.

The role requires an 18+ year-old, valid CDL A, and the ability to pass background and drug screens. You’ll work a typical schedule with potential overtime, and receive comprehensive benefits and training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to pass pre-employment background, driving record review, physical and drug screening.
• Able to perform the physical requirements of the position.
• Reliable commute to designated work location; relocation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks with loading attachments to prepare, load and transport trailers to disposal sites, transfer stations, and recycling facilities.
• Transport containers to disposal, transfer or recycling facilities when load capacity is reached.
• Maintain safe driving practices in high-traffic areas, back up maneuvers, and complex roadways.
