Job summary

Interstate Waste Services is seeking a CDL-A driver for local, home-daily routes in the United States. Competitive benefits, safety-focused culture, and DOT-regulated operations define this role.

You will operate trucks in compliance with OSHA/DOT standards, complete inspections, and maintain logs. Excellent English communication skills and the ability to meet physical requirements are essential.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 21 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• All drivers must have a valid Class A CDL with air brake endorsement, tanker endorsement, and a clean driving record.
• At least 1 year of CDL-A driving experience within the last 7 years.
• Working knowledge of DOT, OSHA and applicable traffic regulations.
• Must be able to read and speak English well and understand highway signals.
• Must be able to meet physical and safety requirements and work scheduled hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the truck in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• This is a full-time position with local routes and home daily.
• Maintain vehicle safety through pre- and post-route inspections and reports.
• Monitor safety and service-related issues and report them to the supervisor.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors and partners.
