Pridgeon & Clay Inc is seeking a Local Truck Driver (Switcher) in Grand Rapids, MI. The role involves moving products between facilities and to vendors, with a $24.00/hr base wage plus a $1.00/hr shift differential and potential overtime.

Qualified candidates must have CDL-A, at least three years of city trucking experience, and be able to pass a DOT physical and a road test. Computer literacy and accurate paperwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL-A license required.
• Three years of city truck driving experience.
• Three months shipping/receiving clerk experience.
• DOT physical course and tests pass required.

Responsabilités

• Transport product to Distribution Center or between facilities.
• Inspect, weigh, label, and verify shipments against bills of lading.
• Load/unload trucks and verify paperwork.
• Enter shipping and receiving data into QAD.
• Maintain FIFO on outgoing product and prepare manifests.
