Our Delivery Drivers run 2 to 4 routes per week, with routes out no more than 36 hours. Our drivers earn $90,000 to 95,000 per year.

Job Summary

To serve our customers by safely and efficiently transporting products from the warehouse by driving a tractor trailer to various customers and properly delivering and unloading products according to customer invoices and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, in all weather conditions and place in designated customer storage areas according to specifications and standards.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and timely, including logs, inspections, maintenance reports, and invoices.
• Meet food safety protocols, maintain sanitary conditions, and assist with warehouse sanitation.
• Develop good relationships with customers by providing courteous service and clear communication.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Education/Experience

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent, plus one year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred. Completion of a driving school can substitute.

Certifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License. Must be insurable.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, safe lifting and delivery practices.
• Skills in long-distance driving, customer communication, problem-solving, and product delivery.
• Ability to operate tractor-trailers, read/write English, perform basic math, and organize work independently.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to sit, talk, hear, lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull 350 pounds, climb in/out of vehicles, and reach/stack/unstack pallets.

Work Environment

Occasional exposure to weather extremes, moving parts, confined spaces, and airborne particles. Work includes overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and variable start times.
