Compensation Information:

The pay range provided is not indicative of Sysco’s actual pay range but is merely algorithmic and provided for generalized comparison. Factors that may be used to determine rate of pay include specific skills, work location, work experience and other individualized factors.

• Average $85,000 per year for drivers running 3-4 routes weekly and out no more than 42 hours.
• Paid Training and Top Earning potential.

Responsibilities:

• Unload product from trailer, ensuring proper handling and delivery according to customer specifications and safety standards.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, including logs, inspections, and invoices.
• Maintain food safety protocols and sanitary conditions in the vehicle and warehouse.
• Develop good customer relationships through courteous and clear communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Education/Experience:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred, or completion of a tractor trailer driving school.

Certifications:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe lifting practices.
• Skills in long-distance driving, customer communication, problem-solving, and product delivery.
• Ability to operate various vehicles and equipment, read/write English, perform basic math, and organize work independently.

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 250 pounds, and perform physical activities like climbing and reaching.

Work Environment:

Exposed to various weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, and occasional high or confined spaces. Overtime, weekends, and holidays required.
