Job Summary

To serve our customers by safely and efficiently transporting product from the warehouse by driving a tractor trailer to various customers and properly delivering and unloading product according to customer invoices and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, in all weather conditions, following customer specifications and company standards.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and timely, including logs, inspections, invoices, and damage reports.
• Meet food safety and sanitation standards during delivery and in vehicle maintenance.
• Develop good customer relationships through courteous service and clear communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or tractor trailer driving school completion.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• At least 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, safe lifting, and delivery practices.
• Skill in driving long distances, communicating with customers, problem-solving, and product delivery.
• Ability to operate tractor-trailers, read and communicate in English, perform basic math, and organize work independently.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull 350 pounds, climb, reach, bend, and twist. Specific vision abilities are necessary.

Work Environment

Exposure to various weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, confined spaces, and moderate noise. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.
