Job Description

• Local lumber delivery for 84 Lumber
• Deliver lumber and building materials from store locations to customer job sites
• Operate a tractor trailer with a 45 ft flatbed trailer and a forklift mounted on the back
• Forklift is used for most deliveries; some heavy lifting required
• Heavy lifting may be up to 100 lbs
• Start time is 6:00 AM; work until all deliveries are completed for the day
• Typical workday is 10–12 hours
• Monday through Friday schedule
• Occasional Saturday work may be required; Saturdays are rare and typically a half day, finished by noon

Pay

• Guaranteed $950 per week base pay
• Average starting weekly pay is $1,200–$1,300
• As drivers gain experience with job sites, forklift operation, and paperwork, speed and earnings increase
• Annual earning potential of $65,000–$75,000
• Commission is based on the delivery fee associated with each delivery
