Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Local CDL A Truck Driver to safely and efficiently transport products from our warehouse to various customer locations. The role involves delivering and unloading products according to customer invoices and company standards.

Responsibilities
  1. Unload products from trailers, using hand or mechanical tools, in all weather conditions, adhering to safety and handling protocols.
  2. Complete all required paperwork accurately, including logs, inspections, and invoices, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  3. Maintain food safety standards, inspect products, and ensure proper storage to prevent contamination.
  4. Develop positive relationships with customers by providing courteous and professional service.
  5. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience, or completion of a recognized truck driving school.
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability to operate a commercial vehicle.
Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
  • Skills in long-distance driving, customer communication, problem-solving, and product delivery.
  • Ability to operate various trucks and equipment, read/write English, perform basic math, and organize work independently.
Physical and Work Environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull heavy loads, and perform physical tasks required for loading/unloading.
  • Work involves exposure to weather, mechanical parts, and possibly confined spaces, with a schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
Benefits and Compensation
  • Competitive salary range: $10.00 - $48.00/hour, with potential eligibility for incentive plans.
