Ryder is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver in Bloomfield, CT for local home daily routes. You will operate 53' reefer trailers, with no-touch freight and paid training, while earning weekly pay. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and customer service as part of a supportive team.

Eligible drivers must be 21+, have a CDL-A with endorsements, and pass Ryder’s drug and background checks, with various experience levels considered. Benefits begin after 30 days and include PTO and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 and above.
• Pass a Ryder drug test and background check.
• Pass a DOT physical and road test.
• Provide Class A CDL and endorsements.
• 9 months to 5 years of tractor-trailer experience considered.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely handling and maneuvering tractor trailers on the yard and roads.
• Comply with safety and DOT regulations and participate in continuous training.
• Maintain accurate records and logs; provide safe, reliable service.
