Job summary

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, motivated Local CDL-A Truck Driver to join our Saco, ME team. This role operates a day cab tractor with a 48’ or 53’ trailer to perform pickups and deliveries for diverse LTL customers.

You will be home daily Monday through Friday, earn $36 per hour with OT after 40 hours, and qualify for comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, life insurance, a 401(k) match, and paid time off. Join a family-owned company with a long history of service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement to start or willingness to obtain in 90 days.
• Minimum 1 year of recent tractor trailer experience.
• Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• No more than three moving violations and/or accidents within the last three years, subject to review.
• Ability to communicate effectively; read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Completing pick up and deliveries to various location(s).
• Performing lift gate deliveries, including unloading and loading at stops as needed.
• Ensuring the security and safety of the tractor and freight; adhering to FMCSA safety regulations and guidelines.
• Building relationships through excellent communication with customers.
• Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

CDL-A Truck Driver qualifications:
