Job Summary

Operator – CDL Driver - Mulch & Soil Manufacturer-Class A DOT flatbed and live floor tractor trailer operation from Miami, OK, making multiple daily runs. High activity season will require availability for maximum hours allowable under DOT & safety compliance. Drivers are required to strap, weigh station & tarp palletized loads. Fast-paced operation.

Job Responsibilities

• Valid Class A CDL license, clean 3-year MVR report, ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical & drug test, and criminal background search.
• Perform routine pre & post-trip inspections, properly secure and strap heavy loads, and demonstrate proficiency in forklift operation and safety courses.
• Complete electronic logs and maintain accurate records in compliance with DOT and company standards, including maintenance reporting, inspections, fuel tickets, delivery manifests, and customer signatures.
• Perform preventive maintenance safety inspections (tires, mirrors, brakes, fluids, tarps, straps) & fueling duties.
• Able to distinguish proper inventory via SKUs and labeling and communicate effectively with dispatch, Scale House, and shipping departments.
• Operating forklift equipment is preferred.

Job Requirements

• Regularly required to speak or hear.
• Frequent standing on feet.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs regularly; occasionally up to 65lbs with team lifting or equipment.
• Perform physical activities involving arms, legs, and whole body—bending, crouching, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping, reaching.
