Herman N Logistics in the Chicago area is seeking a CDL-A Target Driver for local routes with home daily. You will operate automatic trucks on primarily drop-and-hook freight and complete a minimum of two loads per day.

This role requires six days per week with a daily home time and a 34-hour reset. Night driving is required, and a clean driving record plus DOT Medical card are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 3 months of truck driving experience.
• DOT Medical card and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver retail freight on local routes in the Chicago area.
• Longest round trip is approximately 91 miles.
• Complete a minimum of two loads per day.
• Approximately 95% drop-and-hook freight.
• Approximately 5% of deliveries require pallet-jack unloading.
• Pallet-jack unloading is paid.
