Job summary

JRP Energy is seeking a safety‑mocused Fuel Delivery Driver to transport and deliver petroleum products to commercial and retail customers on local routes. You will perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, manage documentation, and maintain strong customer service while following DOT regulations.

The role requires a valid CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements, at least 3 years of commercial driving experience, and the ability to work flexible schedules on reliable, year‑round routes.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required.
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience.
• Ability to read, write, perform basic math, complete required documentation, and interpret maps, road signs, and delivery information.
• Working knowledge of commercial vehicle safety systems and DOT regulations, including hours of service, inspections, and maintenance requirements.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including irregular shifts and around-the-clock operations as needed.
• Must meet all U.S. DOT medical requirements and pass drug/alcohol screenings.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver petroleum products to customer locations while complying with all DOT regulations and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and report any equipment defects or safety concerns.
• Load and unload petroleum products at terminals and customer sites using approved operating procedures.
• Verify shipping documents, delivery information, and product accuracy.
• Maintain required records, logs, and delivery documentation in accordance with federal and state regulations.
• Communicate regularly with dispatch regarding delivery status, delays, equipment issues, or customer concerns.
• Safely operate commercial vehicles in varying traffic, weather, and delivery conditions.
• Maneuver fuel hoses, equipment, and vehicles in tight spaces and customer locations.
• Report accidents, incidents, safety hazards, and equipment concerns promptly.
• Represent JRP professionally through safe driving practices, customer service, and personal appearance.
• Perform all duties in accordance with company safety standards, environmental requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
