Job summary

The McPherson Companies is hiring a Local Class A CDL Driver - Tankwagon Fuel. The Fuel Delivery Agent ensures uninterrupted product delivery, complies with DOT regulations, and supports safe, timely transport.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading fuels, route execution, strict logbook maintenance, and collaboration with Dispatch and Fleet Maintenance to uphold safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements.
• Minimum of 3 years fuel hauling experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Work with Dispatch to ensure uninterruptible supply for customers.
• Load and unload diesel fuel and gasoline per policy and regulations.
• Drive to and from designated locations and deliver as instructed.
• Operate vehicle on and off customer sites per DOT and company policy.
• Maintain log books per state and federal regulations.
• Take product samples as required by management.
• Maintain vehicle safety through checks and maintenance.
• Communicate with Dispatch and Fleet Maintenance as needed.
• Perform roadside assistance such as changing tires when required.
