Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions has an immediate opening for a Solo Class A CDL Part-Time Transfer Driver based in Columbus, OH. This position involves shuttling equipment between Ryder Customer Facilities, with no-touch freight involved. Candidates must comply with safety and DOT regulations while maintaining accurate records.

The ideal candidate will have at least 9 months of verifiable Class A experience within the last 3 years. This role offers weekly pay, a local home schedule, and a variety of benefits including paid maternity leave and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements.
• Class A verifiable experience: 9 months within the past 3 years or 2 years within the last 5 years or 5 years within the last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Shuttle equipment between Ryder Customer Facilities.
• Safely drive a commercial vehicle, complying with safety & DOT Regulations.
• Maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Detecting and eliminating safety hazards.
