Job summary

Crystal Finishing Systems is seeking a Local Shuttle Driver based in Schofield, WI to join our Freight team. The role focuses on transporting materials locally with routes usually within a 150-mile radius, allowing drivers to be home daily in a fast-paced transportation environment.

Qualified candidates will hold a valid Class A CDL, have 3-5 years of experience, and be familiar with DOT regulations and ELD requirements. Excellent customer service and load-securement skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a satisfactory driving record.
• 3-5 years of commercial driving experience.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and electronic log requirements.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers, including dry vans, Conestoga trailers, and scrap trailers.
• Complete local pickup and delivery routes, typically within a 150-mile radius.
• Perform trailer drops, hooks, load securement, and freight inspections.
• Maintain DOT-compliant logs, delivery records, and required paperwork.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding assignments and status.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report equipment concerns.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Crystal Finishing Systems.
