Job summary

Velocity TruckingPros LLC is hiring for a Local CDL-A Shuttle Driver. Earn a flat $200 daily starting, with drivers averaging about 2 turns daily and roughly 2,000 miles per week. You will be home every night, with a 24/7 dispatcher support team to help keep freight moving.

Shifts vary across a 24/7 terminal, with a minimum of five days per week, including weekends. Benefits include comprehensive health options and a company-matching 401(k) after 60 days on the job.

Qualifications

• You must live within 40 miles of the local hub area (Zip Code: 81001).
• Experience: Trainees with 0 months accepted if CDL-A in hand; experienced drivers require 6 months OTR in last year or 12 months in last 5 years.
• Credentials: Valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card.
• Background Check: No more than 4 driving jobs in last 12 months; no major preventable accidents in last 5 years.
• Screening: Must pass hair and urine drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Local shuttle runs with about 2 turns per day, ~2,000 miles per week, all local deliveries.
• Operate with drop-and-hook or live unload; no trailer unloading required.
• Work a mix of day and night shifts; 5+ days per week on a rolling Mon-Sun schedule.
