Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Route Delivery Driver in Omaha, NE. This non-exempt role operates company vehicles to deliver freight on a route with a 7am start, Monday–Friday, and pays $33/hour.

The driver will unload, palletize, and reload freight, complete required government paperwork, and maintain safety by performing inspections and DOT-compliant activities. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, and 401k.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 1 year commercial driving experience.
• No DUI/DWI in past 3 years and no more than 3 traffic violations in past 3 years.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain; renewals reimbursable.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment skills assessment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Deliver and/or pickup freight to/from customer locations or terminal as instructed by dispatch.
• Ensure shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and accompanies shipment to delivery point.
• Load/unload freight with or without mechanical aid depending on freight size.

21+ years old

1 year commercial driving

Clean driving record (no DUI/DWI, <=3)
