Job summary

Sysco Corporation is seeking a forklift-style driver to safely transport and deliver product to customer locations. You will unload and stage goods, verify deliveries, and maintain accurate documentation while adhering to food safety and DOT regulations.

The role requires a Class A license, clean driving record, and ability to work flexible hours, including overnights and weekends as needed to meet customer demands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Commercial Vehicle Drivers must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and to understand signs, inquiries, and records.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License is required and must be insurable.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from warehouse to customer on a scheduled route.
• Unloads product by hand or with a hand cart, following store procedures and safety guidelines.
• Picks up damaged goods and returns, and transports items back to the SYGMA warehouse.
