Job summary

Indianapolis Fruit Company is hiring CDL A local reefer drivers to haul freight within a 400‑mile radius of Indianapolis and return home. Shifts start late at night and runs typically 12–14 hours, with 2 overnight trips per week and multiple days home each week.

Expect weekly pay via direct deposit, overtime after 40 hours, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and 401(k). The role emphasizes safe, compliant driving and staying within DOT rules, with paid training and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have CDL A license.
• Must have 12 months of verifiable tractor‑trailer driving experience.
• Drivers cannot have more than 6 points on their driving record at one time.
• Air‑brakes endorsements required.
• Must meet DOT testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations.
• Must be able to pass a required pre‑employment drug screen.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
• Hiring radius: Drivers must live within 60 miles of Indianapolis, IN or be willing to relocate for this position.
