Salt City Trucking in Fontana, CA, is hiring a Local CDL-A Intermodal Driver for 100% home daily night shifts. This role covers container transport within a 150-mile radius with no-touch freight and a steady night routine starting between 7 and 9 pm.

Earn a weekly gross average of $1,400–$1,800 with 55–70 hours per week; weekend work is standard on this fleet. Slip-seat operation in clean daycabs, occasional ramp waits for container mounting, and residency within 25 miles of the dispatch yard

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT Medical Card.
• Must reside within 25 miles of the dispatch yard.
• Minimum 3 months verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred, but not required.
• Solid driving record and mandatory drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Handle 100% No-Touch Freight on intermodal runs.
• Operate within a 150-mile radius of the yard.
• Perform regional hub drops and drops into other yards.
• Slip-seat operation in clean daycabs; containers mounted on chassis.
• Minimal ramp delays for mounting containers onto DOT-legal chassis.
