Job summary

4th Day Trucking is seeking a Local CDL-A Intermodal Driver for 100% home daily nights. You will handle intermodal freight with no-touch operations, drive within a 150-mile radius, and manage regional hub drops in a daycab fleet.

Shifts are night-based with 55–70 hours per week, and holidays are optional. A valid CDL-A, DOT medical card, and clean driving record are required; hazmat is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT Medical Card.
• Within 25 miles of dispatch yard.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred but not strictly required.
• Solid driving record and clean work history; drug screening mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Handle 100% no-touch intermodal freight.
• Operate within a 150-mile radius of the yard.
• Regional hub drops including runs to other yards.
• Slip-seat operation on daycabs with containers mounted on chassis.
• Ramp flips may require 30–60 minute waits.
