Job summary

Trucking Group UTAH in Shawnee, KS seeks a CDL-A Local Hazmat Driver to deliver auto parts on a dedicated local account. Expect home daily, weekday-focused schedules, and weekly pay with mileage and stop-based pay. Hazmat endorsement and 9+ months experience required.

Trucks are late-model automatics; you’ll unload at each stop, use a liftgate and pallet jack, and go through FMCSA Clearinghouse processes. Medical card and clean driving record are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
• Minimum 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT Medical Card.
• Must be at least 22 years old.
• Must meet FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements.
• Must meet English language requirements for communication, reading traffic signs, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to local customer locations; driver unload at each stop.
• Haul freight in dry van trailers.
• Operate late-model automatic Freightliner trucks.
• Use a liftgate and electric pallet jack.
• Hazmat endorsement required and safety compliance is essential.
• Home daily on a local, weekday-focused schedule.
