Job summary

Small Potato Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Hazmat driver for Shawnee, KS on a local, home-daily route. You will haul dedicated auto parts freight in a dry van, with liftgate unloading at each stop. New automatic Freightliner day cabs and late-afternoon/night starting times.

Requirements include valid Class A CDL, hazmat endorsement, DOT medical card, clean driving record, FMCSA language and Clearinghouse compliance. No SAP drivers. Compensation: average annual pay around $82,400, paid weekly.

Qualifications

• Hazmat endorsement required
• Minimum 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
• Must be at least 22 years old
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• FMCSA English-language requirements
• FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse profile required before hiring

Responsibilities

• Unload at each stop using a liftgate and electric pallet jack
• Operate dry van trailers on a local route
• Haul dedicated auto parts freight on a home-daily schedule
