Job summary

Heritage Cooperative is seeking a Fuel Transport Driver for local deliveries in Columbiana, OH. This full-time position requires a Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles.

You will load and unload bulk products, maintain logs, and ensure safety and compliance with regulatory and company standards while delivering to customer sites. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Class A CDL.
• DOT Medical Certificate.
• N Tank Vehicle Endorsement.
• H Hazardous Materials Endorsement.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends.
• Ability to frequently stand and/or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently sit for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or carry heavy objects no more than 75 pounds.
• Outstanding Organizational and Time-Management Skills.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• Respectable Mechanical Skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Superior Customer Service.
• Abide by all safety regulations to ensure safety of oneself, coworkers and customers.
• Communicate customer needs and inquiries to appropriate personnel for follow up.
• Conduct required pre and post trip inspections.
• Load and unload product for delivery following weight guidelines set forth by the vehicle type.
• Maintain necessary truck and delivery logs.
• Operate receiving systems and equipment in a safe and efficient manner to receive product and unload trucks.
• Deliver bulk products to customer sites following state and federal regulations and company policies.
• Fulfill customer orders accurately and timely.
• Maintain equipment and facilities in a neat, safe condition.
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
