AtWork Personnel – Harrisonburg is seeking an experienced CDL Class A Flatbed Driver for a local role in Harrisonburg, VA. This temp-to-hire opportunity features a day cab, flatbed hauling of construction materials, and a Monday–Friday schedule with no overnights.

Earn $22–$25 per hour, with an extra $25 for every wide load. Expect 32 hours guaranteed per week and a reliable, safety-conscious driver who can secure loads, perform pre-trip inspections, and maintain DOT logs.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card.
• At least 1 year of recent CDL driving experience.
• Solid driving record (MVR).
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe load securement.
• Ability to pass required background and drug screenings.
• Ability to meet clearance requirements for military installations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a day cab tractor with a flatbed trailer.
• Transport construction materials to commercial and highway jobsites.
• Properly securing loose and palletized materials for safe transportation.
• Occasionally loading and unloading trailers using forklifts or other equipment.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers to coordinate deliveries.
• Maintain accurate DOT logs and delivery documentation.
• Safely navigating loading areas and active construction sites.
