TransForce is seeking a dedicated Class A CDL driver for a local, temp-to-hire assignment in Pataskala, OH. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule starting early morning, local routes, and lumber materials. Pay starts at $27/hour with a strong safety and reliability posture expected.

The position requires a valid CDL, DOT compliance, and the ability to perform pre/post-trip inspections. Training on Moffett/flatbed is provided, with weekly pay and benefits after introductory period.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• 1 year of recent, verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Will train on moffett and flatbed.
• Steel Toed Boots.
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT/FMCSA requirements.
• Strong communication skills.
• Positive attitude and dependable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment.
• Lumber Clean up. Stacked lumber picked up with Moffett. May have to grab some by hand as well.
• Transport in accordance with DOT and company safety standards.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations.
• Meet the physical demands of the role.
