Job summary

SUPERIOR INDUSTRIAL SOLUTIONS INC. is seeking a Class A Driver for local work and warehouse duties in Old Hickory, TN. You will deliver hazardous and non-hazardous freight, operate forklifts, and support lab and shipping tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• CDL Class A license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum 2 years CDL-A driving experience.
• Clean driving record for the past 3 years (both personal and professional) – no violations.
• Tanker experience is a plus.
• When not driving, the driver will perform plant duties.

Responsibilities

• Pull product samples and submit to Lab for quality control.
• Label containers and secure closures.
• Inspect, label, store, and prepare products for shipment.
• Stage, load, and unload pails, drums, and totes.
• Operate a forklift.
• Wear required PPE for safety.
• Keep work area safe, clean, and orderly.
• Lift and/or move 55 lbs.
• Use CDL license to drive to local rail spur and unload rail cars.
• Shuttle trailers to and from the local repair shop.
• Cross-train in areas such as shipping/receiving, bulk handling, inventory control, chemical packaging, fiberglass handling, tote cleaning, preventive maintenance, and yard truck spotting.

Education

High School Diploma

CDL Class A license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
